Recommended Website Enhancing Resources

Would you like to spruce up your website but are unsure how? I’ve waded through the videos and have found three website enhancing resources for you. Everything I needed was free.

One of the great benefits of the Internet is all the resources we have available for anythingwe want to learn.

One of the disadvantages of the Internet is all the resources we have available for what we want to learn, and there is a mountain, zillions, a plethora of information to wade through. Hours, days, weeks are spent checking another resource, reading another opinion, watching another how-to video.

What really comes in handy is when someone wades through the waters ahead and tells us who and why someone is a resource for our need.

In the hours, okay–months of viewed YouTube videos and read articles, I built this website from scratch. No templates. No college training. No experience. Only a wannabe desire to craft my own website.

FYI. I receive no affiliate remuneration for these recommendations.

The first website enhancing resource is:

Ferdy Korpenshoek. His tutorial walked me from the nothing I started with to much of what you see on this website. He choose purples, and I chose turquois. He set a box here, and I set mine there. He showed howed to set sliders, incorporate videos, incorporate blog blurbs, manipulate images, tweak this, modify that…matching his website, and I followed along using colors, slides, blurbs, images, tweaks that worked for this website.

Ferdy’s tutorials gave me the freedom to make this website tailored to meet the needs of writers, readers, and those who want to see the world. YOU!

I appreciated the speed of his presentation. He didn’t rush. He also included variables viewers would encounter and used easy, understandable terms.

The second website enhancing resource is:

Dale McManus from Create a Pro Website. His short tutorials excelled in answering the short, impulsive questions. His explanations clarified, demonstrated, and made the problem seem so easy to fix. And it was! In the midst of trying something crazy on my website, I keyed in the question and most often found Dale’s answer and directions the easiest to follow.

I appreciated his ability to simplify what seemed to this newbie to be a complex question.

The third website enhancing resource is:

MAK. That’s what he calls himself. I’m not sure if these are his initials or his actual name, but he is definitely in the top for website tutorials. MAK is the one who will help you take your website beyond what others have. He will show you how to polish the look and give your site a professional appeal. His step-by-step directions helped me design my footer, the header of my posts, comments, and more. If you’re looking for someone who can guide you towards making a unique, golden, professional, amazing website, MAK is your go to person.

Here is the benefit of learning how to tweak your own website:

Say something goes wrong. A link breaks. A photo disappears.  Your web designer may not always be available. Having your website down for one day can be disasterous.  The main advice I want to share is – If I can do it…you can.

Say you see something amazing on another site and want to incorporate the idea in your own way on your website. You can. Going to these three for how to tutorials will give your website the snap you want.

You don’t have to wait for someone else

    to make your website fantabulous.

    You can do this!

I will be adding more information to the resource page as time goes by. Check back!
